Bhindi Masala
Bhindi Masala is simple to cook and doesn't need much preparation. Bhendi is one of the most popular and nutritious vegetables in India. You can make this dish for lunchbox. Your kids will definitely like this dish. It can be served as a side dish in accompaniment with steamed rice and dal or with chapati as a form of sabzi.
Ingredients :-
- 250 Gram Bhendi(Ladies Finger or Okra)
- 2 Medium Chopped Onion
- 1 Teaspoon Chopped Garlic
- 4 Teaspoon Crushed Groundnuts
- 2 Teaspoon Grated Coconut
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 Teaspoon turmeric Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 4 Teaspoon Oil
- Red Chili Powder
- Salt
Recipe :-
- Take 250 gram Bhendi.
- Wash it properly. then wipe dry them with a kitchen towel in a plate.
- Vertically slice them.
- Heat 4 teaspoon oil in a pan.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds and 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds.
- Add 1 teaspoon chopped garlic and saute till the raw aroma of garlic goes away.
- Add chopped onion and saute the 1 minute, then add the bhendi.
- Cover the pan for 5 minutes and cook the Bhendi on a low flame. And stir occasionally.
- Cover up only for 5 minutes.
- When Bhendi is cooked then add 4 teaspoon crushed groundnuts, 2 teaspoon grated coconut and mix well.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, red chili powder as per your taste, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala, salt as per your taste and mix it well.
- Put the 1 minute on low flame.
