Quick Pani Puri
Pani Puri is a popular street food of india. It is one of the favorite dish of indian people. Panipuri's name varies depending on the region. In Delhi and Punjab it is known as Golgappa, gol gappay; In Bengal, Nepal, Zarkhand and Asam it is known as Phuchka; In Hariyana and Utter Pradesh it is known as Paani Patashi; In Madhya Pradesh it is known as Fulki; In Odisha and Bihar it is known as Gup Chup; In Gujarat it is known as Pakodi. It is very tasty chaat.
Ingredients :-
- Pani Puri Masala
- 4 Potatos
- 1/2 Cup Tamarind (Imali)
- 1 1/2 Cup Jaggery
- Readymade Puri Packet
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 Cup Chopped Onion
- 1 Cup Chopped Tomato
- Fine Small Sev
- Red Chili Powder
- Cumin Powder
- Black Salt and Regular Salt
- Chat Masala
- Water
- Oil
How To Make Spicy Pani :-
- Take 1 litre water in a bowl.
- Add 4 teaspoon pani puri masala(Readymade Masala) in water.
- And mix it well.
- Then spicy pani will be ready
How To Make Sweet Pani :-
- Take 1 litre water in a pan and heat up the water.
- Add 1/2 cup tarmarind and boil them.
- When Tarmarind is boiled then filter it in another pan, add 1 1/2 cup jaggery and again boil it.
- When it is completely boiled then add 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon black salt, regular salt as per your taste in it and mix it well.
- After this sweet pani will be ready.
Pani Puri Stuffing :-
- Take 4 potatos and boil it till they are cooked completely.
- Peel them and crush the potatos.
- Take crush potatos in a bowl. add 1/4 teaspoon chat masala, 1/4 teaspoon black salt, 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder,
- Add regular salt as per your taste and add some coriander leaves.
- Mix it well.
Making Puri :-
- Heat oil for deep frying in a deep pan.
- Put a few puris in the oil. They will puff up quickly as soon as you add them to the hot oil. You can fry up to 6 to 8 pieces at a time, depending on the size of you pan.
- Fry it till they are light golden and round like ball.
- Drain the perfectly fried puris on kitchen paper towels.
- After that puris will be ready.
Making Pani Puri :-
- Take 6 to 8 puris in a plate.
- Crack the top of the puris with a spoon as per shown in pic above.
- Add 1to 2 teaspoon of the boiled potatos filling in the puris
- Stir the spicy pani first then add it in the puris.
- Stir the sweet pani first and add it in the puris.
- Then sprinkle the chopped tomato on the puris.
- Sprinkle the chopped onion on top of tomato.
- Sprinkle the fine small sev on top of onion.
- Then sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves on top of fine small sev. After that Pani Puri dish will be ready.
Extra Tips :-
- You can different types of stuffing combination for pani puri like boiled black chickpeas (Kala Chana).
- Boiled white chickpeas (Kabuli Chana).
- Boiled moong sprouts.
- You can also try Ragda (Potato Dish).
