Murmura Bhel

Murmura Bhel is very popular street food and is mostly loved by everyone. It is slightly sweet, spicy, and sour. It is easy and tasty chaat.

Ingredients :-

  • 1 Bowl Murmura(Puffed Rice)
  • 1 Cup Spicy Chivda
  • 1/2 Cup Fine Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Fine Chopped Tomato
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Fine Chopped Green Chili
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chat Masala
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black salt
  • Green Chutney (Recipe  is given below)
  • Sweet Chutney (Recipe  is given below)
  • Fine Sev
  • Salt

Ingredients For Green Chutney :-

  • 1 Cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Mint(Pudina)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 3 Green Chili
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Garlic
  • 1/2 Inch Ginger
  • Salt As Needed

Ingredients For Sweet Chutney :-

  • 1/2 Cup Seedless Tamarind
  • 1/2 Cup Seedless Date palm
  • 1/2 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Salt
  • Salt

Recipe Of Green Chutney :-

  1. Take 1 cup coriander leaves, 1/2 cup mint(Pudina) and rinse them for 1- 2 times.
  2. Also take 3 green chili, 1/2 inch ginger and rinse them.
  3. Add all ingredients to a blender jar.
  4. Keep blending until it becomes smooth paste, do not make thin but make a thick paste.
  5. Take out the paste from blender jar in a bowl.
After that green chutney will be ready.

Recipe Of Sweet Chutney :-

  1. Take the 1/2 cup seedless tamarind, 1/2 cup seedless date palm and 2 cup water in a pan.
  2. Cook it for 10 minutes on a low flame till they soften.
  3. Add 1/2 cup jaggery and continue to cook.
  4. When jaggery dissolves and the mixture becomes thick then add 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon black salt, regular salt as per your taste and mix it well.
  5. Let the chutney mixture cool down.
  6. Take whole chutney mixture in a blender jar And grind it till it becomes smooth.
  7. Add some water if required while grinding.
  8. Strain the sweet chutney through a strainer in a bowl.
After that sweet chutney will be ready.

Recipe Of  Bhel :-

  1. Take 1 bowl murmura(Puffed Rice) in a large bowl.
  2. Add 1 cup spicy chivda, 1/2 cup fine chopped onion, 1/4 cup fine chopped tomato, 1 fine chopped green chilli, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon chat masala, 1/4 teaspoon black salt, green chutney and sweet chutney as require, regular salt as per your taste and mix it well.
  3. Take few bhel in a plate.
  4. Garnish with fine sev and coriander leaves then serve it.
  5. If you like it more spicy then you can add green chutney. Or If you like it more sweet then you can add sweet chutney.
