Aloo Puri

Aloo Puri is a soft, tasty and healthy dish. It is easy recipe. You can make this for lunch box of your kids. Your kids will be happy to see new different and tasty menu in their tiffin. Then your kids will be enjoying lunch as well.

Ingredients :-

  • 2 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 2 Boiled Potatoes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ajwain
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chat Masala
  • 1 Fine Chopped Green Chili
  • 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt

Aloo Puri Recipe :-

  1. Take 2 boiled potatoes and peel it. After peeling chopped them and add in a blender.
  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili flekes, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon ajwain, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon chat masala, salt as per your taste, 1/4 cup water and blend it.
  3. After blending transfer the batter in a large bowl.
  4. Add 1 fine chopped green chili, 1/4 cup coriander leaves, 2 cup wheat flour and stir gently with fingers until it becomes dough.
  5. You make sure dough should not be too soft or too tight.
  6. After that make medium size ball of dough. Apply some oil to dough ball and flatten with chapati roller. Roll into 3 - 4 diameter circle.
  7. Heat oil in a deep pan.
  8. Once oil becomes hot then gently drop the puri into oil and  fry it until it becomes light golden colour to both side.
  9. Then remove it on a kitchen paper towel. Similarly, fry all the puris and serve it with tomato sauce.
