Pithla Recipe
Pithla recipe is a very easy and mouthwatering simple dish. Pithla bhakri is mostly made in Vidarbha side for Haladi function. It is a simple but too good to taste dish which can be prepared with minimum preparations. You can easily find things in your kitchen for this recipe such as garlic, green chili, coriander leaves, gram flour(Besan) etc. I really love it. Now lets get started to prepare this yummy dish.
Ingredients :-
- 1 Cup Gram Flour(Besan)
- 4 Chopped Green Chili
- 1 Teaspoon Chopped Garlic
- 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 4 - 6 Curry Leaves
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 4 Cup Water
- 3 Teaspoon Oil
- Salt
Pithla Recipe :-
- Heat 3 teaspoon oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
- When oil becomes hot then add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds and let them pop.
- Then add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Add 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, 4 chopped green chili and saute it very well.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix it. Add 4 cup water, salt as per your taste and wait till the time water turns hot.
- Then put the gram flour(Besan) in a hot water slowly. Making sure that you keep stiring while adding gram flour.(Besan)
- Add 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves and mix it well. Then cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
After some time pithala will be ready. Then serve it with flat bread(bhakari/roti/chapati).
