Hello friends, welcome to all of you on our blog recipes by Shraddha. Today's dish is Masala Paratha/Spicy Paratha. It is the tastiest dish. This is my all time favorite paratha. If I have no time for breakfast/lunchbox to make, then I will make this dish. It is so easy to make and it doesn't need any side dish except a raita/pickle/tomato ketchup. You can eat it with one sip of tea. You can make this dish for breakfast or lunchbox.

Ingredients :-

  • 2 Cup Wheat Flour
  • Chili Powder
  • Cumin Powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Oil

Recipe :-

  1. Take 2 cup wheat flour in a bowl.
  2. Add 1/4 tbsp salt and mix it. Add water as required and make it dough.(dough do not make too sticky too tight.)
  3. Apply some oil and cover it for 5-10 minutes to set.
  4. After 5-10 minutes dough is set, knead the dough.
  5. After dividing the dough into equal parts, roll the dough in the palm of your hands to make balls.
  6. Take 1 dough ball. Dust the ball in flour and roll it to 3-4 inches in round circle.
  7. Add 1/4 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp oil, salt as per your taste and gently spread it with your fingers all over the circle.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves on the circle.
  9. Then fold it in half, now again fold it in half and press it.
  10. After that again apply the flour and roll it.
  11. Turn on the flame, heat tawa on medium flame.
  12. Once the tawa is heated, placed the rolled paratha on it.
  13. Cook it for 4-5 seconds then flip it. Apply little oil.(you can apply ghee)
  14. Flip it and apply oil again.
  15. Flip it in between to cook the paratha evenly from each side.
  16. Then take it out in a plate. Repeat the process to make remaining parathas.
After that masala paratha will be ready. Serve it with pickle/tomato ketchup/chutney/raita.
