Chilli Paneer
Hello friends, welcome to all of you on our blog recipes by Shraddha. Today's dish is chilli paneer. You will prepare it only in 10 minutes. Paneer is the most common type of cheese used in traditional cuisines from the Indian subcontinent. Paneer is an excellent source of protein especially for vegetarians who do not get their intake from meat products. Paneer also a rich source of calcium. It helps in stronger bones and teeth.
Let's start chilli paneer recipe.
Ingredients :-
- 200 Gram Paneer Cubes
- 1 Medium Onion Cut in Quarters
- 1/2 Cup Green Bell Pepper Cut in Cubes
- 1/2 Cup Red Bell Pepper Cut in Cubes
- 1/2 Cup Yellow Bell Pepper Cut in Cubes
- 2 Green Chilli Chopped(Vertical)
- 1 Inch Ginger Fine Chopped
- 3-4 Cloves Garlic Chopped
- 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Green Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour Slurry ( 1 tbsp corn flour + water mixed)
- Water
- Oil
- Salt
Recipe :-
- Heat oil in a pan for fry. Add 200 gram paneer cubes and fry it for 1 minute on medium flame.(Here, I am frying paneer cubes without coating.)
- After that transfer it in a plate and set aside till in use.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in same pan. Add ginger, garlic, green chili and saute it for few seconds on medium flame.
- Add Onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, one pinch of salt and saute it for few minute.
- Add soy sauce and toss it well to coat. Add green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, mix it and toss well.
- Add some more water, corn flour slurry, salt, mix it well and cook the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried paneer cubes and toss it well.
- Then chilli paneer will be ready. Serve hot immediately.
Tips :-
- If red and yellow bell pepper are not available in your kitchen, so you can use only onion and green bell pepper.
- If spring onions available in your kitchen then use in it.
- If you use different sauces, take them in a small bowl beforehand, so that it will be easier for you to use.
