Hello friends, welcome to all of you on our blog recipes by shraddha. Today's dish is iceberg lettuce salad. Your lunch and dinner are incomplete without salad. I am using the iceberg lettuce for breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks in every week. Actually, I like iceberge lettuce. Lettuce is an excellent source of different vitamins and minerals. Iceberg lettuce has high water content (95%) and low in calories(13kcal), which is very effective for weight loss efforts.

Iceberg lettuce helps in fight with heart disease and strokes. Iceberge lettuce is Protecting infants from neural tube defects during pregnancy. regular inclusion of lettuce in salads is known to prevent osteoporosis, iron deficiency anemia and believed to protect  from cardiovascular diseases, age related macular disease in the elderly, Alzheimer's disease and cancers.

Ingredients :-

  • 1 Cup Chopped Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 Cup Chopped Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Cup Black Olives
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • Salt 

Recipe :-

  1. Take a medium bowl. 
  2. Add 1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce, 1 cup chopped cherry tomatoes, 1/4 cup black olives, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp oregano, salt to taste and mix it well.
  3. Aftet that salad will be ready, then serve it.
