Crispy pakora/Crispy vegetable pakora is tastiest snacks. It is crunchy from outside and softer inside. Pakora or bhajiya is a most loveable dish in rainy season. It is made with carrot, potato, spices and gram flour. Pakora is always best option if you want to entertain your guest or just you like to enjoy the rainy evening. It is better with your favorite chutney or tomato sauce or ginger tea. Mouth watering pakoras and a cup of tea is a perfect combination.

Ingredients :-

  • 2 Carrot
  • 1 Medium potato
  • 2 Green chilli  chopped
  • Few coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Carom seeds(Ajwain)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Fennel powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp Gram flour(Besan)
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt

Recipe :-

  1. Take carrot, potato and wash it well then peel both.
  2. After peeling, carrot and potato grate one by one with the help of vegetables grater in a medium bowl. Squeeze the grated carrot and potato.
  3. Then add 1/2 tsp carom seeds(Ajwain), 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, 1/4 tsp fennel powder, 1/2 tsp chaat masala, 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 tbsp gram flour, 2 chopped green chilli, few coriander leaves, salt to taste and mix it well(Don't use water)
  4. Heat oil in a pan, first grease your hand with oil before making the pakora.
  5. Take little amount of mixture and put it into hot oil. Cook it on medium flame and flip it intermittently.
  6. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Once it turns golden brown then take it out from oil.
  7. Repeat the process to fry remaining.
  8. Then serve hot crispy vegetable pakora with tomato sauce.
