Jawas Chutney

Jawas chutney is made up of flax seeds, garlic, cumin seeds and red chilli powder. Flax seeds are good sources of omega 3 fats and fiber. Flax seed or Jawas or Alshi is very healthy.


Ingredients :-

  • 2 Cup Flax seeds
  • 4 - 5 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt

Recipe :-

  1. Heat up pan on medium flame.
  2. Dry roast flax seeds on medium flame and keep stirring continuously.
  3. Once flax seeds are roasted nicely then switch off the flame.
  4. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 1/2 tsp red chilli powder in it and mix it then let it cool down completely.
  5. Transfer it into blender, add 4 - 5 garlic cloves and salt.
  6. Blend it for few seconds, then jawas chutney will be ready.
  7. You can store it for 1 or 2 months.
