Image of Palak Pakoda

Palak pakoda are delicious Indian spinach fritters made with fresh spinach leaves(Palak), gram flour(Besan) and spices. These palak pakora make for a tea time snack and can be served with Indian ginger tea or with chutney or sauce.

There are many variations of making palak pakoda recipe. But mainly they can be made with two unique methods.

1) Finely chopped spinach leaves(Palak) are mixed in the gram flour(Besan) batter and deep fried.

2) each spinach leaf is dipped in spiced gram flour batter and deep fried.

Both methods are very easy and quick. You can choose the method that you like.

Ingredients :-

  • Spinach leaves(Palak)[2 Cup fine chopped palak]
  • 2 Green chilli fine chopped
  • 1 Cup gram flour(Besan)
