Hello friends, welcome to our blog Recipes by Shraddha. Today's Recipes dish name is Hummus, it is very flavorful you can  eat with nuggets or cutlets or falafal ets. 

This is the super creamy and delicious dish. It is made from fresh ingredients including chickpeas, garlic cloves, lemon juice, cumin, sesame seeds, edible oil and coriander leaves. Chickpeas are wonderful for health, they're loaded with fiber and keep things moving through your digestive system. 


Ingredients :-

  • 1 Cup soaked chickpeas
  • 3 - 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Cup roasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 Cup edible oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Water
  • Salt

Recipe :- 

  1. Add 1 cup soaked chickpeas into the cooker and add 1 glass water. 
  2. Pressure cook until 3 whistles on medium flame and after 3 whistles cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  3. drain the water from the chickpeas and reserve the water.
  4. Add chickpeas into the blender and add 1 cup reserve water, garlic cloves, cumin powder, sesame seeds, edible oil, lemon juice and salt to taste then blend it fine paste.
  5. Hummus will be thick, creamy and smooth. If you like a thinner consistency, add some more reserve water in it as your desired consistency.
  6. Then serve in a plate or bowl and give it swish the depression on top.
  7. This creates the divot for your oil to stay in. Sprinkle some cumin powder and coriander leaves.
