Falafel
Hello friends, welcome to our blog Recipes by Shraddha. Today's menu is Falafel. Falafel is a deep fried ball or patty shaped. Falafel is eaten throughout the middle east and is a common street food. it is usually made from chickpeas. You can make this recipe easily at your home. Falafel is high in many micronutrients and a good source of fiber and protein. They can be a good substitute for non-vegetarian protein.
Ingredients :-
- 1 Cup soaked chickpeas
- 1 Medium chopped onion
- 1 Cup chopped coriander leaves
- 4-5 Garlic cloves
- 3-4 Chilli
- Salt
- Oil
Recipe :-
- Take a grinder jar then add soaked chickpeas, onion, chilli, garlic, coriander leaves and salt to taste and grind it.
- Remove mixture from the grinder jar in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan for fry.
- Then make small balls(or diff type of shapes) of mixture and pour in oil, flip it intermittently.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy on medium flame.
- When fry very well then take out the falafel from the oil and put on a plate.
- Serve hot with hummus or chutney or tomato sauce.
