Bhindi Masala Gravy/Bhindi Masala

This is an awesome bhindi masala gravy that feels special.  Basically a gravy is Indian style, the gravy prepared by onion, coconut, tomato and combination of some spices. Made spicy gravy and add fried bhindi(ladies finger or okra). If you want sweet and spicy then add some sugar as per your taste. here I didn't use sugar because my family doesn't like sweet that's why. You can eat with Roti/Chapati/Garlic butter nan and rice also. 


Ingredients :-

  • 200 Gram ladies finger(Bhindi)
  • 2 Medium onion vertically chopped
  • 1/4 Cup coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 Cup grated coconut
  • 1 Small tomato chopped
  • 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
  • 5 - 6 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Inch ginger chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Kolhapuri masala 
  • 1/4 tsp Tumeric powder
  • Hot water
  • Salt 
  • Oil

Recipe :- 

  1. Take bhindi(ladies fingers) and chopped in one inch.
  2. Heat a pan add coriander seeds, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and roast it then take out from the pan in a plate.
  3. Add grated coconut and roast it after that take out from the pan.
  4. Add 1 tsp oil, garlic cloves, ginger and also roast them well then take out from the pan 
  5. Add some oil, onion and saute until it golden brown, add tamato, one pinch of salt and cook it well with onion for one minute then take out from the pan and keep aside for cool.
  6. Add some oil  in same pan add chopped bhindi, one pinch of salt and fry it shallow fry in medium flame for five minutes.
  7. When the bhindi will shallow fried well then take out from the pan in a plate.
  8. Take a blender and add all roasted things in it and blend it well.
  9. Heat oil in same pan add mustard seeds let them pop.
  10. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  11. Add blended vatan in it add turmeric powder, chilli powder, kolhapuri masala and mix it well. 
  12. Saute it until they leave oil from the vatan then add hot water as require in it.
  13. Make sure gravy do not too thin or too thick.
  14. Add shallow fried bhindi in it, add salt as per taste, coriander leaves and mix it well.
  15. Cook it for five minutes after that bhindi masala gravy will be ready.
